see the little puffs of smoke as he adjusted the throttle on landing. Thats what they should add to AH with the new effects.

Bring up the gear! You're going to lose it!

I think traditionally its 5 flights gear down before you go gear up. I believe 5 is what it is with commercial new model airplanes.

Thanks for the vid, VWE, when I fired that up with my bass on, my son's parakeet started singing like a suprano! :D

Ok....., that's an 'Airplane'.    I'm glad he didn't try to do anything 'stupid' on what I'm taking to be it's first flight.

BTW, it that 4/5 scale ?

No, that was the third flight...

And it's 1:1, or at least it should be... Check out Flugwerk.de (http://www.flugwerk.de/new/fw190/fw190.shtm) for more info on that plane.

Or am I completely mistaken and there's another company building 190's? I have seen that video before and I vaguely remember that it was the Flugwerk 190...?

edit: nevermind, read what Pongo said. :)

It wasnt smaller. It had a longer wingspan, more wing area, bigger H stabs, much bigger/taller v stab, much bulkier fuselage. It was somewhat shorther though.

BTW this new Fw190 is very inaccurate with the cowl, the shape s clearly off and it might be off oin length too.

There. got that ion again. :)

Yea I never understood why ppl think its a "big" plane.  It is a heavy pos for its size  tho.

Gunz, what are you referring to, regarding the cowling?

Its a standard 190a8 cowl, with the 12mm machine gun covers.

Regarding your POS remark, this aircraft ruled the Channel for a long while. It was called the twittler Scurge.

Well the cowl might well be a bit short, the transition to the frontal curved/sloped ring is wrong - too angular, the cowl MG bulges are wrong too.  Basically pretty much everything forward of the wing looks wrong.

As for FW190 weight, the thing was too damn heavy plain and simple.

The Fokker Scourge was WWI. The Fokker Eindecker was the one that dominated over Europe for a time in 1915.
