hey, i'm no expert. this is just a humble question, Truekill...are the white lines on the wings supposed to be that bright?
the plane might seem a little more battle tested if the white lines were a little more faded.
great work. love the butcherbirds.

yea a squadie told me what color it was its alittle more gray on it.

cc...and faded, maybe? (i dunno...just askin')

I like it, but it looks...... Muted. Too subdued. Shouldn't there be more contrast between the colors? Just a tad more?
-
what do u mean contrast? make the colors more blured together?
-
is that black thing exhaust or paint? put some scratches on it and add more weathering
-
Looks good Truekill. The contrast between the upper and lower camo looks fine :)
One comment, the dark parts on the fuselage below the cowl, is that part of the paint job or are those radiator dirt streaks? Can I suggest adding a heavy motion blur in the aft direction? The dirt looks too "clean" :)
You'll also need to remove the swastika before submitting to HTC or AH-skins.

You'll find it prolly looks better when you adjust the rivets'/panels' to go along with the rest of the texture's changing colors, so it doesn't stand out so much and brake the illusion.
-
yea i know about that swastika crap i leave it on to go with the pic or the plane to tell where this mark goes and how long that one is then take it off
-
Truekill, actually quite the opposite. I meant perhaps making the colors stand out from each other just a hair more. But I haven't even seen any real pictures/plates of the historical colors. Just going off of aesthetic inclinations.
