I would like a second rear view in order to see around the other side of the seat in some of the aircraft.

I'm talking about something faster then that. By the time you slide your head across it's too late. Plus it does not go to a saved position, don't have the time to fine tune it in battle.

hmm... it's do'able. Shane does it IIRC. I would do a search for Shane's views and see what u can find. I 'member him talkin' 'bout it not long ago. Might have to do w/ the fact you can have up to 3 j/s setups in AH, with a key to toggle them.

nooo... i only have 1 direct "6" view that only covers one aspect of the direct 6 - usually my right side, and of course the back left/right views. i do also have a back up 6 and back up left/right... but in any case there's only one "direct 6" view in each normal and up. he wants 2 direct 6 views that allow him to check both sides. why he simply can't do a little wiggle or roll is beyond me, must be that inner Luftweenie straight-line only child of his. :D
what's he's asking for can be done by simply mapping either a j/s button or keybord button to that alternate "direct 6" view, sort of like some people have an extra button (j/s or kb - i use the "home" key for this) mapped to look down in the cockpit to check fuel or something.
the view toggle switch is an entirely different subject.

How about including cockpit rear view mirrors. I'm sure I've seen these on pics of spits etc. AW used to have them.
They were mounted above the front windshield.

Use the keys described to slide your view right or left then hit F10 to save the head position as opposed to just looking staight back.
It aint perfect but its better then looking at the back of your seat or at the support brace

i use the "rudder" on the x45 throttle for move head side to side...
i would like to put in an official request for HTC people to make the head move speed much faster.
