Yep, it's not always succesful. My father once cut half of his big toe away with a lawnmover. They attached the toe, but it later got gangrene and he  could have lost the whole foot.

funny how with foreign footballers they get the slightest of touches, they go down crying rolling on the floor for 10 minutes.

They get 1/2 finger cut off and they are running round shouting holding hand up.

Furball, with all do repect...(And any other who think in the same mannor, both American football and the rest of the world football fans)
Get over it. Please. Two different sports, two different parts of the world, two different cultures. You think one way, I think another. Dont you think we sometimes feel the exact same way toward our own sport? (Which may happen few times, but it still does) And I imagine that you are not always pleased with your sport, that rare occasion when your favorite player or team has a big event over something insignifigant, and you wish they would just get on and play. (which you may not admit to)Its something that cannot as of yet be proved. Just like debating if there are aliens...Its pointless to argue unless it can be positivly proved or proven wrong. (The truth is out there :D )

And also Furball. The few you see rolling around on the feild are only ones you usually see. I know personally a player on my football team, he broke his thigh bone in a game in the second quarter. He didnt know it until the next day he was so pumped full of adreneline. There are the players in the game that sprain and break bones all the time in College and in the NFL and continue playing.

And no Im not just being biased aganst soccer ( football ) fans. If a football fan came on here and said something along the lines of what you stated aganst soccer (football) Id say the same thing to them.

Furball

And to do with the missing finger, my old tech drawing teacher 2 fingers when he was in the NAVY. He lost the ring finger and middle finger. He used to joke around with us, how he could piss guys off with their dates giving the chicks the I love you symbol.

I think you have completely mis-understood my point.

I am saying that foreign soccer players (Italy, Spain, South America Etc.) have a habit of feiging injury in order to get the opposition player booked (yellow/red card).

My point was that its funny when they are really injured they seem fine, whereas when they get the slightest of touches and are not injured - they roll on the floor crying.

np, my only real problem with american football is its name.

Albeit, what i have seen of it bores me, but i have always said that i would love to go see a game in the states, and watch it as it should be watched to experience it properly.

Ive always wanted to see a real soccer (football) game. Seems like it would be like goin to a hockey game around here when Buffalo plays Toronto. (Gets ugly in stands  :D ) Only time we get riots is if a home teamwins the Cup or Americans insult Canadian beer at one of their arenas.

Blue you wanna see a good Soccer game, get some tickets to a Rochester Rhinos game. The place usually sells out for every game and they are a riot to go too. They are building a new stadium within the next year I believe. The reason for the new stadium is that they want to become a Major League team but wont be let in untill they have a stadium that can hold so many.

In the words of a Spanish in-law on the subject of professional footballers: "They are all gayees."

And they are.

Ya see? It's that socialized medicine you guys have....no incentive to try new things.

Here in the US, he'd be pickin his nose with a newly attached finger in less then a week.
