Uh, just wondering when these might be turned back on.  The arena hasn't crashed since the first day it was up and we're still without skins.  

Yes, I like my planes to look pretty.

seconded.    Hard to believe how empty the game feels without custom skins.   I'm hooked on 'em.

Please turn them back on!

Will we get another batch of skins this Friday?   Would love to see this become a weekly thing...

The skins were not disabled do to the crash stuff, but wrather some connection issues we have been trying to sort out with some players.

I just logged in and noticed the Message of the Day about disabled custom skins has been removed.  I can now see all the custom skin choices in the skin selection dropdown box, but if I try to choose one, I get "invalid skin" msgbox.   This is different from yesterday, when the selection boxes contained only the 'default' choice.  

Just wondering, would it be possible to build an option to disable  custom skins and downloads into the client?   Would that let HTC track down connection problems with individual users without having to disable the custom skins feature for everyone?
