Hi,
I have a film of a duel I recently had. Now, I had a few shot opportunities that I didn't take because I was questioning whether or not they would be considered HO's, or cheap. But some are pretty darn close.
Can I email this film to someone who's dueled a bit, and get their opinion on whether, in the future, I should take some of those shots?
Hey, for that matter, feel free to tear my duels to shreds and bash intro my skull what I'm doing wrong as well :)
Anyway, the file's 1.25 megs, if anyone is interested?

well if it was in the DA, as long as it wasn't done on the very first merge...
there are times and with certain people you may duel with more than once where there may (or not) be an implied intention not to take the near-HO shot on the 2nd nose crossing that oftens results from the first merge move.

better take anything you get in regards to the dueling ladder, if you don't they will!

Shane, you punk..We need to hook up for some duels some time. I'm rusty.
Oh, btw Vudak, I used to beat Shane around a lil bit. Then he learned what I was doing, and started spanking me good again. :(

God, I've tried to view it several times. Film viewer keeps crashing on me.I've tried lowering video and sound acceleration down a notch. Nothing. Tried moving the film to the films folder. Nothing.
Any ideas?

Yeah, you probably have to wait until the week passes... That film viewer gets angry at times.

Figured out what might be hte problem, I don't have the DA map. No account as of now.

Thank you sir, fixed it. I didn't see anything really wrong.
Spit 5 fight - It's hard to tell from watching the film, but it looks like you could have pulled up a little sooner and harder on the merge, get inside his turn faster.
You still won - so obviously, nothing too wrong. :)
f6f fight - Was good, several shots you could have taken early in the fight that would have ended it alot sooner without getting into the scissors (Nice scissoring btw) One in particular I seen, that he what looked like stalled out in front of you while trying to turn away, could have blasted him there.
Every shot I seen wouldn't have been a HO in my opinon on the F6f.
Another thing you can try, is when he dives down and turns, instead of following him so close, you could high-yo-yo and end up above him where he is heading.
I can hook up with you for some fights sometime if you want.

Seems, from Estes words, there are some interesting aspects I'd like to see; I'm always in search of things/situations that can take me out from my mediocrity although some years of AH flying
And ,of course, you had some positive confirmation yet fom an expert, i will not dare to give my "long time flying but still newbie" opinion:)

Vudak, why not post the film here? You'd almost certainly get feedback from a large number of people.
