Some freaks are pushing their Diesels over the edge in here... W124 300D with 425hp/760Nm (560lb/ft), 14.215/164kmh @ 1/4mile, almost 1800kg...
Couldn't find a pic of that Mercedes but here's cylinder block from a Toyota Diesel which was running with 1,4bar boost. New engine is 2.4 with 2bar boost...

Tuning diesels is all the rage out here in redneckland. You ain't cool unless you got your truck "chipped" (overriding the electronics). Some of these idiots are running propane injection. I forecast a rash of used diesels will be hitting the market soon.

Banks Power Kits are popular for those who own TD's and actually Tow something. Diesel's will last longer (even when ragged on) than a typical gasoline engine.

Bully Dog.
Saw a Bully Dog equipped Duramax turn an 11.49 quarter at 117 MPH, with a 1.70 60 foot time. Not bad for a 6500# pickup truck. If you want to do diesel in a pickup, Bully Dog is the way to go.
CORRECTION
The tag line for this says nolimitdiesel, but I heard this truck is Bully Dog equipped. Could be wrong.

I have customers in Norway, they LOVE the Duramax, and thier first two "accessories" are a Bully Dog programmer, and a K&N air filter. Followed quickly by a Flowmaster muffler, or trashing the stock muffler and going without, although some use the Bully Dog exhaust, often with a Flowmaster muffler. Many report about 20-21 MPG with a Duramax in a crewcab dooley, and the ability to pick on lots of "sporty" cars. Same stuff is popular here as well.
I'll keep my RAT powered trucks though, my big block Chevy crewcab dooley looks like a refugee from the recycler's lot. Makes it all the more embarassing for those kids unfortunate enough to choose it off.

Yep, I was also wondering why No.1, 2 and 3 pistons are in up and only 4:th is down. Guess it broke connecting rod.

Where in Norway do you usually sell it? Any cities or regions that you sell more to than others?
