Was running a 9800PRO with omega drivers.
Picked up a BFG (pre overclocked) 6800GT today, it's like night and day!!!!
Smoother, crisper textures, even aniamted water doesn't look too bad.
Can heartily recommend it to anyone.
Funny thing now is even with an A64 3500 (s939) I am CPU limited lol.

Hehe Kev, about this time next year youll have a dual core cpu plugged in shoving data at 2x the current rate to that "starved" card. :)

If only.
Dual core will prob be closer to 1.5 times a single CPU unless it is supported by the application.
Dual Cores will operate in two modes -
1) Using the HTT bus natively for fast processing.
2) Supported Intel (slower) hyperthreading.
As for AH2,
best solution would be to use Windows 2000 server, startup AH2 and then using processor affinity assign all AH2 tasks/threads to the 2nd core.

dual cores will be 2x slower cores anyway. at least at first
