HALO! HALO! HALO!
is all i here as of late from the other game playing people that i work with.
seen halo 1 a couple times, it never intrigued me and this was before my ah days.
i tell them about ah they tell me more about halo, online seems to be very hot with thousands of players on at any one time.
is it that good?
i ask if you? are into halo and also play or have played ah, which one do or would you perfer to play?
trying to make my mind up about giveing halo a try.
another thing halo player seem to enjoy is that its free as im told, just buy the game, as apposed to a pay monthly fee's. some people cringe when i tell them about the 14.95 mothly fee! do the math through, and you will pay $179.40 a year times X number of years? hmm... ill leave the conclusions up to you.
ah has far been the best all around game i have seen so far .
currently waiting for christmas and ill get to play rome total war.

It is fun.. completely different from AH.
Fast paced FPS, only 3 or 4 maps you play on constantly (good for learning the maps anyway).
The matchmaking over Xbox Live isn't the best, you "start" then go into a que waiting to join some random game. Usually the folks are either a lot better or a lot worse than you are.
Been my experience anyway. If you don't mind shelling out the $50 or so for Xbox live it can be fun. The game comes with a month or two of Xbox Live free. Just run a cable from your hub/router to your Xbox.

Hello? You called?
Yes, I am the original Halo. Never played the game, but obviously with a name like Halo it has to be supremely classy, surprisingly understated, amazingly fun, deceptively ubiquitous, pleasantly addicting, surreptitiously virile, and eschew adjectives.
Yes, Halo also stands for high altitude low opening, i.e., the fastest way to get down via canopy.
The avatar? Universal energy, the penultimate sensation (the ultimate being oblivion) when bounced by Halo.

It is $50 a year I think.. you buy it in one year chunks. I'm not 100% positive on that, you'd have to ask someone that works at a video game store.

Yeah, it's about $50 a year to subscribe to the XBox live service. But you can get lucky and there are some Xbox games that have coupons for a free 2 month subscription for new users and some other ones have a free 12 month coupon. Just from using the coupons I got a free 26 months.
ack-ack
