This is the problem with the courts and the child support system...you just have to be the ALLEDGED father and can get stuck with a bunch of support to pay. Then even when you prove that you have no responsibility, they don't even offer as much as an apology much less refund you all the money you paid.
This all stems from just about ALL judges favoring mothers in just about all cases from support to custody and even child abuse and domestic violence. Fathers have no rights when it comes to their children in the USA. I speask this from experience on just about all the points I've mentioned here.
Just easier to never get divorced no matter how much you hate somebody.

Child support is the indentured servatude of the 21st century.
Mostly men will be labled as Dead Beat Dads for failure to pay even if no proof of paternaty has been given. In alot of cases Dads can be thrown in jail for not paying even if they can't afford the child support.....but don't fret....they still have to pay in prison that they went to for not paying and more than likely lost their jobs that helped them pay.
I'm not saying a man shouldnt financially support his Child but it is a completly unfair system here in the US. I've read Horror stories of a Dad that HAD custody of his children but still had to pay child support because when his Ex-wife had custody she was on wellfare. The state then continued the child support payments after he had won custody, because his wife was proven an unfit mother, because the state wanted to re-coup their costs of supporting the mother and children.

Yup not saying that real life cases of this doesnt happen. I'm in no way saying that pedofiles or real dead beat dads don't exist. All to often equality takes a back seat when it comes to justice. Its like today's men are paying for the shovenism of men in the past.
I got a kick out of reading a story in the LA Times about 3 high schoool girls that made up a story about a homeless guy molesting them so they wouldnt get in trouble for ditch class. The homeless guy went to jail and these three carried on......until they got caught in there lie. There's actual criminal charges pending against these girls now.
