Famous couple that did airstunt show thingies in the 30's I think. They even made a movie about them... can't remember their names tho.

Think she was the first female to do this.

It is, Wave.

 You can tell she is a wave by the uniform, this is a publicicty photo/propanganda, from 44/45, image source indicates this is an orenation flight. BTW WTG gear. A few Years ago HTC did a Stearman for a Piza company promor and I always hoped we would see one in AH, thier was a vershion that was armed and produced I beelave for export though I have never sean a referance showing it saw combat.
