Drat!
I dropped my CH PRO Throttle USB on my carped rug, and I seem to have lost all memory in it- if that's possible.
The buttons seem to work but no commands are being recognized. is it possible to have lost memory because of the drop, or is there a need to get a new throttle?
I hope I can recover the memory or whatever it is, because reprogramming these things is a ROYAL pain n the neck...

Have ya opened the sucker up to see if anything came unplugged or unseated?

They are pretty robust items, try asking over here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/) at the CH Hangar, CH Products staff hang out there if in the worst case scenario you have to send it back for a repair. What Control Manager version are you using? have you tried the key check program in Control Manager? there are profiles at the forums above for Aces High to help you get up and running again as quickly as possible.

Nope caveman, I have not opened it up, although there are no rattles or shimmies when shaken. I'm reluctant to open it, for fear I'll only do more harm than good lol
revvin, thanks, I'll post there. I've had CH since 1995 AW / AOL, and never had a prob with them, so I know it's not in the construction, and I've dropped these things before over the years, which is all the more puzzling to me.
for the feedback, fellas, when I find the cause, I'll let you know.:aok

I've just manually validated your account there so you can post as I saw you registered about an hour ago just incase you did'nt get a validation e-mail response as some ISP's seem to block them as spam. No rattling is a good sign at least :)

good to have buds in High places... :) ty
Update:
I have not checked my account yet in CH hangar...but I am able to program axis inputs, throttle, and mini-stick are working, but no buttons yet...
I'll check CH-hangar and post there...

I've dropped mine, stepped on it 3 times, which pulled the screws out of the slider mechanism so I had to epoxy them back in. It still works fine.
I'd say the fall probably didn't have anything to do with the problems your having, its most likely a bad p-rom or solder joint somewhere.

Yea I've dropped it a few times myself...and clue how to help remedy the problem??

I am only using the AH programming functions, maybe this is a time to change over...
as a caveat to this thread, no one from CH hangar has replies, and I posted on two different forums...programming, and software :(

I replied to your thread yesterday, what I posted will help find out if your throttle is a hardware or software problem if it's hardware then I'm sure Michael will help you out.
