Well of course there still out there "blowing in the wind" and it's only a matter of time before they rear their ugly heads, as did Chevy Chase while he was the host of a benefit for the american way (funded by Mr. ultra liberal himself Norman Lear) He began buy referring to the president as a someone who started a "Jihad" and added the "F" word on several occaisions. He continued his bashing by telling the auduence that the president was an " uneducated lying schmuck" and in good old liberal fashion, he continued by throwing [the guy they were all praising as the next best thing since JFK] under the bus, John Kerry a bore. Now he's a bore.....How typical is that...I guess this skum*** forgets that the american people voted AGAIN to elect the president.....Get over it you fat washed up Jackoff.....and go make Christmas Vaction at the Dog Track.....

Chevy chase is a fool. He doesn't understand that we invaded Iraq because Saddam ordered the 9-11 attacks and had at least 20 atomic bombs (maybe more). Never forget!

Because it's a charity event he's limited in his opinion? I don't know much about this organization, but with members like "ultra liberal" Norman Lear it seems that they may share his views.

Big deal, Chevy Chase is a liberal who just took delivery of his new Ford Hybrid Escape. The thing I enjoy about the Constitution of the United States of America, is he can say these things. As well as the opposite may be said.

The only reason that nut ball is on TV is to get another movie deal. It is the first time in years he has been noticed. He will be soon living with the Dixie Chicks, remember them? The last thing there agent said to them was, shutup, sitdown and color (there CD was real cool in the microwave).

Question. When are the Celiberals (Celebrity Liberals) going to wake up and get it through their oversized ego fed glitter filled craniums that NO ONE CARES about their opinions? I’m sure some of it is done as a marketing ploy to boost a sagging career but it seems to me they do more damage to their credibility and image than they would like to think running their mouths spewing parts of a message that the majority of Americans obviously did not agree with. Must be the Hollywood “In” style thing to do now a days when you career is in a lull and you need some cash, kind of like an attorney ambulance chasing. I fully understand they have the right to exercise their first amendment right but some of them like my favorite whiner Miserable Mike (M&M aka Michael Moore – all cleaned up now too in case you haven’t seen him lately but still a slob) need to exercise a little more at the gym and less with the mouth. By the way - don’t they have Atkins on the menu at Spago’s now? I’ll recognize and listen to a point that contains quality in a rebuttal, but not to diarrhea of the mouth which is the usual diatribe originating from the Celiberal’s vocal chords.

Poor Chevy Chase seems to be in a steady decline, perhaps accelerated by some of those painful falls he'd take to get laughs early in his career.
A couple years ago there was a Chevy Chase roast on TV that was even more painful to watch than his falls. Few "friends" or fellow "celebrities" even bothered to show up for him, and several of those were filmed rather than live.

Both were pretty good movies I admit but
I also contend it wasnt Chase who made them funny but more the supporting cast
And certainly not in CaddyShack

I agree ensemble work is his best. He's not much of a lead actor. Fletch never really appealed to me and that was his best leading role.
