Title: What constitutes a Ship Sortie?

Does manning a gun on a carrier, destroyer or battleship count as a ship sortie? I spent some time Friday night in a battleship gun but nothing on my score. Is the pt boat the only valid ship sortie?

As far as I know zippy yes the PT boat is the only ship sortie.

Manning fleet guns does effect your score, but perks awarded are VERY small.

Ghosth, you are SO right.  I sank a CV and Destroyer using the Cruiser main guns and only got 0.50 perk points!!! Sheesh!  :rolleyes:
