Does anyone know what the part No.s for the right and left consoles in the Fw 190 cockpit are?
Also do you know what these part No.s refer to:
8.190.932.2402
8.190.931.11
Last question, how do you tell the difference between the different marks of Fw on engineering drawings?
Cheers for any help.

If anybody can help you it would be Crumpp.
BTW, I think I have some good cockpit pics from a 190.
But again, those won't do much...

Yeas Crumpp is our resident expert, and is quickly becoming an international authority on the 190. Must be "all quiet on the western front" since this warrior has the time to do this kind of research in a time of war. ;)

Yep. Must be no news in Norway, as this reporter has time post constantly.

Not offhand, but I can look it up for you. Got some other things going right now so be patient.

I would have to see the drawing.
Not insult anyone's intelligence, your question is pretty general.
Study up on the different varients and learn the details. Things like extra panels in FW-190A5 and later, Radio systems, structural changes etc...
Even then FW-190 identification can be very difficult. Engineering drawings will be much easier than a photo in general.
Take Care and Merry Christmas!

Hello all
thanks for the replys, I have a couple of drawings, one of which is the rear top instrument panel. the drawing reference block is all there but doesn't seem to have a mk. of aircraft on it. It has the No.s
8-190-102-4190
other writing is there, like the maker, Focke-Wulf bremen etc.

Didn't you say you worked at a newspaper? Or maybe it was just printing Anti-American propaganda on the weekends...
O-club topic...

Why do you bring the o' club in here? I've not done nothing but praise you in this thread.

It was not an attack, it was a joke!
Lighten up!
And thanks for the praise.

Sorry it has taken so long to reply. Been very busy working on my project.
Part numbers for the Left and Right geratbank in the FW-190A8 cockpit are:
(L) Geratbank - 190.931.01
(R) Geratbank - 190.938.02
These part numbers refer to the completed assembly NOT subcomponents. The housing has different part numbers. These part numbers also change depending on the varient.
As for you other parts, please check the part numbers again.
932 group is found in the FW-190A1 and designates a subcomponent of:
1. Elt. Ausrustung im Rumpf
2. Flugeltrennstelle L
3. Flugeltrennstelle R
However the grouping does not go up to 24 in the Ersatzteilliste.
The 931 group refers to a wide variety of parts found in all varients. However the Ersatzteilliste only shows 931-08 as the highest subgroup.
It would greatly help if you told me what varient/time period these parts came from.
All the best,
Crumpp

Hi
Sorry I missed your post.
I cannot see any dates on the drawings I have so far,
these are:
8-190.9075-Z02 ELT. AUSRUSTUNG IN GERATEBANK R
8-190.780-Z01 THROTTLE (There is no title on this one as its cut off)
8-190.166-3301 BLATTZ 2 BL:1 WINDSCHUTZTRAGER
8-190.102-4190 GERATEBLECH (I think its what it says, its a little indistinct)
8-190.105-1207 LAGERUNG
I hope to get more drawings but I need to find out what mark these belong to.
thanks for your help so far
