Title: Officer Tarmac
Post by: Tarmac on December 21, 2004, 04:42:14 PM
Along the same line's as Kisters' post, I've finally finished all my college, training, hiring processes, got my certifications, and I can finally call myself a cop.  I've been doing training stuff with my department for the last three weeks, and tomorrow I start out on the road with my training officer.

I have to work 12 hour shifts now, but at least I'll only work 14 to 15 days a month.  Hopefully this will give me some time to get back up into the air with all you folks.  This 8-5 crap while training was starting to frustrate me.  :)

Mav, field training is going to be about 4 months and I'll be on probation for my first year assuming all goes well.

Heh, a g2 skin would be awesome Oct.  Heck, any g2 skin besides the cow would be great.  :D

Congrats and good luck, and as that old police TV show used to say after the briefing, "Let's be careful out there."  (Or something like that -- it was an OLD TV show.)
