Guys, as some will know, a minority, there is some abuse going on towards one of my fellow 71 Sqn members. As Adjutant (XO) I feel it is my responsibility to request, in the stongest and politest terms, to please cease this unfair abuse of said squad member.
With several people PM'ing him, this is tantamount to Bullying and Harrasment! It is not fair and this game does not have room for this type of behaviour and I feel that the people doing this a reprehensible and immature.
They obviously don't like the person, but I request that you keep that to your self and deal with it, as it is not my squad members problem, but is theres.
It has affect him that much that his contemplating leaving the game.
Friendly banter and the occasional argument are inevitable in this game and I accept that, but to carry on in the way they are doing is down right unacceptable.
I have advised my squad member to take screen shots of all the abuse, and to send it to HiTech, 71 Sqn CO, RedTop, BatfinkV our other Adj and myself, as these people need to be delt with, and soon. Before they drive more people away from this game.
I realise this may happen to other sides as well as ours, so I think this needs to be quashed as soon as possible.
I welcome and appreciate intelligent and articulate arguments and discourse, but will ignore those who do not have the intelligence to put together a reasoned and constructive recourse.

hi i had a few battles with 71 squadron useually ending with me in flames{thx batfinkv}:rolleyes: but i think pvt messegaing to harras some one it petty and stupid.
who ever your squaddie is tell him not to give up not all of us bish are the same ,some are pretty good even the xe ones like bluej who abbandodned us to go to 71 squadron.
HI bluej :rofl he shoots me too.in fact ever bugger shoots me.
just dont give up and let there petty mindness win.
keep flaminmg there tulips show them you are better.

An even wiser man gives the ability to /.squelch
especially if it's a PM from the same individual(s)...
but as people said:
1. send in screenies, film if it's vox, if it's really bad
2. butch up
3. use squelch options
I swear I dunno why people have such a difficult time simply ignoring or mentally fltering what they don't want to see/hear.
wish HTC would give us the ability to
1. squelch country
2. clear screen of all text buffer (with a toggle to call it up)
3. squelch range vox
4. have .squelched whatever not show up on films.
5. some want a perma-squelch list (notepad, .cfg file)

I hate vox... i think squad channel is good, although if i am fighting i sometimes have to tune off it if someone is having a discussion about something else.
There is nothing worse than a mini napoleon, who knows nothing, on range channel whining out orders trying to order people what to do.
As for the abusive players issue, why did you bring it up on here? wouldnt it be better to resolve the issue privately with the individuals with the problem, then get HTC involved if it continues? Hope you get it sorted soon though, shame to see someone leave the game over that.

Furball, people are told time after time NOT to bring up personal conflicts between players on the board. But still, time after time they insist on doing so.
They dont care, they just want to make their mouths heard. I guess sorta showing us how big their meat really is so they wont get messed with.

Quite a large difference between telling things how it is with no candy coating and starting a thread based on *****ing/moaning/crying about a single person.
Its been said many times in the bast my little brit l33t fighter ace, if you got a problem with someone, tell Hitech. :)
I know thats a difficult concept to grasp. But try.

You're not telling it how it is, that's the problem. You don't say who is being persecuted or by whom. You don't say why they are being persecuted either. If you want support from the community you have to "tell it how it is to people faces" and show that you really do have "nothing to hide".
Of course as has been said, this should have been given to HT with screenshots, etc... in the first place and never posted here IMHO.

Sheesh, all I did is was ask if his sister was hot and over 18. Some people are sooooooo sensative.
