Title: Offline bomb & rocket practice
Post by: bloom25 on April 25, 2000, 08:19:00 PM
I found a cool little change you can make that allows you to destroy your own (i.e. friendly) objects offline.  You can use this to practice bombing, strafing, and rockets.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)  Just click setup, then arena settings.  Scroll down on the list until you find a value called protectobjects.  Toggle this value and submit.  Enjoy!

Is the "protect objects" parameter still there? If so I must be looking in the wrong list. Thanks.

Yes it is still there. In "Arena Settings" list, click on "Arena Flags". You will then find a checkbox named "Protect Objects"

And fyi, it's better to start a new thread with this question than to resurrect a 10 year old one :)

Jeez,I can't seem to find this anywhere.
I wonder if I have the right version.
I jut updated to the lateest version lots of things seem to be different.
Clip board maps are differant for example, see object loading status bars when booting the game, where I never saw them before.
Also before i up dated,it was listed as aces high 2
Seems i liked the old version better, the maps where better and there seemed to be more options listed like the one listed here for "protect objects "
