Yes, you have cracked the case. The CT is set to implode at midnight two weeks from tonight. All players in the arena at that time will be condensed into a singularity, becoming one with space-time.

I don't think its going anywhere. As long as maps like the current one are up I will keep going there.
I used to think that the problem with the CT are the people. That maybe true but the same problem exists in the MA. All it needs is a few more guys and maps like this one. (Map helps keep people under 30K)

Nomde wants the 56th to spend squad night in the CT at least 1 thursday a month. Starting this thursday. He has been speaking to several other squad leaders about showing up on the same night each month with their squads. Reddog has the CT bug now along with me, and I'm trying to get the rest of the squad to show up for an hour or so each night during the week.
Everything in baby steps, but we may get more players back in the CT with Nomde moving the squad in once in awhile. You might want to shoot him a note to see how his efforts are going.:)

good idea nomde and the 56th guys maybe JG54 will do the same now.

If an influx of squads start coming into the CT, I am sure you will hear how it's turned into a bigger gangbang area than most think now. I would love to see more squads come in but I don't think it will last. Hopefully it will.

Glad to see you come. If the big squads come to fly in the CT it will bring the independent fliers that like the "Historical" aspect of the type of flying we do.
Would like to see more come back like JG54, VF-27, No.880 FAA, etc,.

Agree 110%. That is how it started before with just a few pilots and some dedicated folks who worked to make it better.
We did it before and we can do it again.

Stream, this is something to watch out for, for sure. We've seen it in the past, as many of us remember. On the other hand, if squads can be flexible enough to split off enough to balance numbers, the influx will be a good thing.

If squads don't come in at the same time, it will make things worse. Unless they are whilling to split up.

I warned Nomde we would have to be willing to split for side balancing. But thats not fair to me...they can all kick the whatsus outta my kester.:)

I'm always willing to switch to even things up. I get better feedback from my squaddies than I do from anyone else on why I got shot down :)

Hawk's been spotted over at the UBI forums crying and whining about how Japanese planes should just burst into flames the instant a corsair pilot even thinks about 'pulling the trigger'.
He also whines bout FM differences between games and other non-sense. Basically a repeat performnce from his CT days.
I am betting his first 'I quit' post is coming soon.

Well, respectfully, I dont think its an allied or axis thing. I know plenty of LW guys who think (sometimes justified, sometimes not) that all the axis stuff is porked across the board. I also know plenty of both allied and axis guys that say..."well, porked or not, it is what it is lest make the best of it". I dont think any allied guy (and remember in the CT most of the "allied" squads spend a lot of time flying axis too) would deny that the MG151/20 is shortchanged in its HE hitting power, but, it is what it is.
Maggiehawks problem was he just could not reconcile his view of what the AH world should have looked like with what the reality was. Unfortunately, he spent all too much time telling us over and over about it, and none of us cared what he thought. It does not surprize me in the least that he is dissatisfied with PF, for the same reasons.

I fly with Hawk in IL2/ PF and he is not anywhere near quiting. I just finished configuring his router/Modem last weekend so he can host his own server.
If you're saying that he might complain every now and then, well don't we all!

I've known and flown with Hawk a lot longer than you. He will self destruct as he always does sooner or later. I think 3000+ posts is a bit more than most.

Phaser, Maggiehawk didnt just complain, as I said he had a fundamental inability to reconcile his view of what AH (and the CT in particular) should look like and what it actually was. That in and of itself is no biggie, but he relentlessly beat everyone over the head with "his" view, how wrong AH (and by extention the CT) was, and I for one got tired if hearing it. He brought out the worst in me, and I am sorry for some of the things I said to him here on this BBS because of my kneejerk reactions to his posts.
The fact remains, he wanted to "take his ball home" if we all didnt play his way, only he didnt own the ball, HTC does.

You wont have any problems with Nomde or any of the established squads equalizing things (IMO)...most of the AK's are to bzy with world at war to bother with AH now...but I'll see if hoop talked with nomde...

My big revelation in hawk-relations came one day while flying with him in P-38's. I was his wing and got a guns solution on a con. He started yelling "Plank, don't run in front of my guns like that, you zoomed right into my sights!"
Well, I was filming that battle and took a look from his point of view. I was nowhere near him at any point he was just angry that I was stealing his thunder. I realized that day that it wasn't about flight models, it wasn't about porked planes, it wasn't about skins, it wasn't about base altittudes, it wasn't about the new color of M&M's, it was about him. If he wasn't the hero, he lashed out at everyone around him.
Lost all respect for him that day, sadly.
