Title: Windoze Help! Cant see screen!

Hiyas Everyone,

Ok, I am experience a very weird Windoze problem and would very much appreciate your help. I was trying to change my desktop theme to something else, and whatever I did caused everything to be blacked out. Whenever I right click on desktop to get that drop down menu, its blacked out. WHenver I open browser or other software, everything is blacked out. Sometimes I can see the actual desktop wall paper and icons, but no actions. Thanks for any advice/help ...

reboot, before you see the first windows startup splash screen hit F8 repeatedly

you will boot in safe mode.

in that mode reset your theme / resolution to what worked, then reboot and it should all look fine.

(in safe mode you will not see the changes, you will be only in VGA resolution, with basics installed)

open window and throw your computer away.... its broken and im having good fun w/o your LA7 and other crap in AH :D

I already tried rebooting in safe, no help - same problem! :(

check the moniter cable and see if it has jiggled a bit loose

if thats not it, you might be hosed perm.

Ok, fixed. Booted in VGA mode, and somehow, on the third time, I was able to change the desktop and managed to fix the problem. That was crazy! Thanks for the help JB, orel ... PLBT!

your monitor is lame and needs to be put down, better get the baseball bat.
