what you going to school for when you get uber-hotties to ride in your ambulance and stuff?

Ha, I've got that beat. I scored good A's on all my subjects, including two advanced placement subjects, and physics was a 77.
Its not I don't understand the material (very basic formulas like force and averages, etc.), its just that there's this myriad of worthless sh** like rubrics, journals, "societal connections and applications", etc. This 'standards' crap is taking the focus away from real learning.
Way to go, No Child Left Behind.

Hey Hawker, if you want to learn physics the right way (or, anything far away from public school courses), it might be a good idea to invest a few bucks into a used text. It'll really help once you hit the collegiate level with an earlier taste (especially if you plan on an engineering field)
Half Price books usually have great selections of old pieces of garbage. No inflated content with retarded pretty illustrations. Just cold, hard physics :) like this one! (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0534492622/qid=1104800730/sr=8-4/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i4_xgl14/002-9408581-3166447?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)
Independent studying and picking stuff up for the hell of it has really helped me. Especially with public schooling, you wont become fed up with the course content and/or instructor... ending up with doing the bare minimum just to sift through the garbage.

Thanks for the reccomendation, I'll look into it. Definitely thinking about engineering. I'd never go near a liberal arts college. No offense to liberal arts majors, I just think the whole deal is too subjective.

So you don't write good...? Just tell her you don't need to know nothing about 'writing' to fix rich folks airplanes and make the 'big bucks' while she's still here in the 'slow lane'. Yea...:lol

There are so many punctuation, grammar and syntax errors in your post that I can only assume you are not a native English speaker. I applaud your effort to improve yourself in your new language. Don't be discouraged -- your grade was probably higher than you deserve.

Ummmm.......Rolex, which one of them were you talking about?

Pay him no mind. He claims to be an image website/hosting guru type guy.
But couldn't figure out how to copy/paste an image location. :D

I had the flu and wasn't firing on all cylinders that night. I didn't say I was a "guru type guy."

You ever watch "Will and Grace"???? My teacher is "Jack" with a mustache.... Nuf said. (I swear he is Jacks twin brother!!!)

Well now Gilligan, lil Buddy, don't be so tuff on yourself. It's not that every 46 year old gets another crack at finishing school.
Hang in there.
:aok

Hey now, easy on the 46 year old thing... I am only 30...

LMAO okay.... Best of Luck!
