He acknowleged the bug... supposed to be a new method when TOD is released.  This bug IS a royal pain though.

I really dont see the problem. I have upped every type of bomber, flown at low and high altitudes...I dont have a drone problem. Could it be your flying style?

I have lost drones after taking off, but it is do to me not managing my climb and/or air speed until the drones latch on to me real good. If you take off from a field with a hill at the end of the runway and have to make a turn soon after take off, it is real tough keeping them together. I suggest paying attention to what obsticles are in your path before deciding to take off.

If your talking about when you have been flying awhile and trying to keep them with you in a tight turn. Try opposite full rudder to the direction you are turning. Keeps a nice tight formation and unless you trying some radical turn the drones will stay nice in tight with you.

First ya gotta learn how to get them off the ground. Then ya can fly them. Then ya can bomb with them.

Somewhere in all that learning ya gotta figure out all the gun positions so you can protect them.

Seems like alot of work to me. I'm going back to Space Invaders.

Seriously though. It aint a bug. It's a steep learning curve.
No-one said this sim was easy.

Try the TA, or ask for help from some of the  Buff pilots here. (there a still a few left).  Most are more than willing to pass on some experience.

cheers,

RTR

Hitech himself acknowleged the problem.
