Title: moving vehicles smoke

I've noticed an ugly effect with smoke from moving GVs. The smoke is represented as several "smoke shapes" with a lot of space between them unless the GV is moving very slow. The elapsed time between one smoke shape and a new one is too large, that causes the effect of big spaces between smoke and smoke.
