Welcome to Viipuri, the Third Virtualpilots' Forgotten Battles Special Event!

What: Forgotten Battles dogfight event for 128 players
Where: Virtualpilots' FB server "Virtualpilots_1" on Hyperlobby
When: Saturday January 15th 2005 at 18 central european time, 21 Moscow time, 12 (noon) US eastern time

How to join:
-Install Forgotten Battles, Ace Expansion Pack, Pacific Fighters and patch 3.03m
-Install HyperLobby:  http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz
-Install TeamSpeak2:  http://www.virtualpilots.fi/help/teamspeak/
-Registering details will be posted on the event website  http://gameserver.virtualpilots.fi/viipuri/
-No later than 17.45 CET, join the dogfight server and TeamSpeak2


Allied squadrons are more than welcome to join the event in large numbers! The event will be held during the Virtualpilots "Blitz" winter convention. Due to this, most of the Finnish and Luftwaffe planes will be reserved for the Blitz participants. Please see the event website for a list of available historical squadrons/planes.

If you like organized special events, you will like this one. :)

We have a new server box (3.2GHz P4, 2GB) which should be able to handle 128 players quite nicely. However, it will be interesting to see how the individual players can handle it.  The most players I've seen on a single server was 80 players, so 120 would be 50% more. Join the fun in charting unknown waters, welcome!
