Title: screen freeze when using vox
Post by: SuperDud on January 07, 2005, 06:29:53 PM
Every time I hit the "T" button my screen freezes up for about 2 secs. I think problem started around patch 3 or 4? Before that it was fine. System is:
3 GHz Dell 8400
512MB memory
156MB ATI Radion card
sound card is sound blaster 24 bit

Not sure if you guys need anymore info so I'll leave it at that. Thanks all:)

turn your sound excelleration down a notch in windows .. another thing maybe a driver issue ,and you should go look for updated drivers .

if you still have probs post up ur dxdiag file .. or send it to Skuzzy

Run DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG), then select the "Sound" tab and move the slider from "Full" to 3/4 (Basic).

Settings, control panel, sounds, audio, advanced then move the slider.

This is WinXP...yours may be a little different but the path will be similar.

Do the Microphone playback test there too..it may come up with something too.
