Title: Saving Skins (Reformat)
Post by: XtrmeJ on January 09, 2005, 04:45:52 AM
I'm about to reformat my computer. My question is, is there any way to save the skins from AH to a CD so that after I reformat, I do not have to leave my computer turned on for a week to download all the skins again? Im guessing it's the cache or something like that. Thanks in advance.

Skins are in the skins folder, right now its 178 meg i think.  just burn the fold or files to a CDR disk, when u reinstall AH, just copy if from the CD back into AH dir.

Hmmm when you copy em back make sure they don't say "read only".  Sometimes they're changed to read only on a cd and stay that way when you copy em to the HD.

Check em after you've copied em over to the HD and change em to normal files if the do.
