Other aircraft needed worse than the B-29.

JAPAN: OSCAR, TOJO, GRACE, JUDY, NICK, BETTY
GERMANY: HE-177, HE-111
SOVIET:  MIG-3, LAGG-3, PE-2 or 3, TU-2
BRITISH: Wellington, Beaufighter
US:  Buffalo, Helldiver, B-25
ITALY: C. 1007 Bomber, SM. 75 Med bomber

Just to name a few.

Not sure about it......

From my exprerience of Ar234 raids to HQ:
I've did lots of sorties in 234 to HQ.

• Each time I get to HQ at altitude of 14-16K
• Each time one or (sometimes 2) Me163 lanched to intersept me
• Each time they get on my 6......
• Each time they were deadly aftraid of 2 rear 20mm :lol. Yes, they did.
• Each time they didn't manage to make a single hit on me.
• Each time they RTB with nothing due lack of fuel.
• Each time I safly get home

About b-29

• Of course B-29 is slower but it still flyes very high and has very good speed.
• Most of chances it will be hard to get easy to it - or when you get you will be very short on fuel.
• Most of chances that it will be very hard to get close in order to put your 30mm rounds because of heavy fire
• Most of chances that 1-2 rounds is not enough
• You will not be able to continue long fight because of lack of fuel and high speed/altitude of B-29

this is only in the pacific theater... if we talk about the PAC, then there are other planes that is needed... Jester has mentioned that already.

Well, I would like to see another perk bomber though...

i say add the B29, itd be fun, i doubt many would be able to fly it well considering how heavy it was with a mission load of fuel and bombs. it would be cool to fire bomb some cities to!!!:aok :D

As if the B-24's aren't bad enough.  Imagine a sky full of B-29's and I'm sure gameplay will grind to a halt.  Give us the P-61 Black Widow instead.

Yes, but if you don't have any capable enemy planes to meet all the US & Allied planes you will find yourself alone in the sky.

I think the idea of p-61 is better than the b-29, more useful and more fun.

It would be easier to update a plane we already have than to make a new one.

I think i just wet myself, Thanks Furball & DJ for the good laugh.
IMHO, it would be wise to "even" out the plane set before adding planes like the B-29 and its n00k payload.
I say throw the Italian trimotor bomber in the mix, It was fast and could carry a wide array of ord. NO n00ks!!! OR a Russian light bomber like the Pe series.

Great...a bomber that has a bigger bombload than all the bombers we have already so people can divebomb with B29s now too.  It will be so much fun seeing B29s divebombing and wiping out all fh's on the small fields easily. :(

Bring the B-29 to Aces High, perk it, give it a nuke with a cool little effect for a MASSIVE perk (c'mon, if it was so high it only happens once in awhile, it'd be pretty darn cool to see).

I for one really don't care if it comes in.  If a whole series of suicide lancs can't ruin my fun, a rare bomber like this won't either.

B-29? perk it,    eny the tar out of it,   and make it avalable only at certain fields,  limit dive bombing capabilities by enabling the bomb blast to damage the plane if below a certain alt.  just some ideahs.                      what about the PBY?
