Post by: XtrmeJ on January 10, 2005, 10:59:27 PM: The engine sounds real purty as well. I saw one at the local Mercedes dealership, and wet my pants. I hear only so many were made? So my dream is swiftly getting ripped away from me, even though I really don't have a good grip on it anyways.

You start the car by pressing a button that is fabricated into the shifter. 575 Horse power, top speed of 207 mph, gull wing doors, carbon fiber layout, and a 7 speaker sound system and a spoiler that raises and lifts as you need it at high speeds.

So sad. :(

Post by: newguy on January 11, 2005, 12:49:18 AM: uuuuugly. Sign me up for this. New 06 Z06. 500 HP (downrated from 512 by GM?), 475 tourque and only 3130 lbs. 0-60 in 3.8 (reported), top speed 190 mph. Certainly you wont get the exlusivity of the Mercedes, but you'll save about half a mil :)

Sad as it is to say, it's just another super high-end exotic... just like all the rest they're making nowadays. I think I'd rather fly a $100k aircraft over Houston than try to drive a $450k car on it's streets.
