2 former WB'ers, callsigns Apache & Comanche, have made the transition to Aces High and have formed a squad, Renegade Nation. You will not recognize our callsigns from WB because we have changed them from what they were there. We did this to start fresh in AH and to avoid any banter & bickering that has occurred at times when long time WB'ers have made the jump to AH.
As for our callsigns and squad name. We sincerely hope that we do not offend anyone, as that is not our intent. Comanche & I are of miniscule decent of Native Americans, but not enough to claim as such. We just thought that the squad name and callsigns sounded cool!
We are currently flying Knights. We picked them first because when we first logged on, they had the least amount of pilots on at that time. As is usual, that changes with the time of log on. We will, however, rotate around. We have no ties. Hence the name Renegade. (Note: Doesn't mean we won't tho.)
We will fly with honor! We will not shoot chutes! We will not engage in any channel 1 flames, whines or squeaking! We will call 6's when possible or dive on bogie when it's not! AND WE WILL AVOID THE HO!!!! Not saying that any of the aforementioned are wrong, we simply choose our own stance. "Our buck" thing I guess you could say.
Lastly, we will leave you alone and not try to take any of your pilots away. I hate to see new squads form and then see them beg for members. We want to build a reputation (after we figure this thing out) and have pilots want to join us!

I don't know where you heard long-time WB pilots received anything other than a warm welcome. I have seen many of the WB's come, and they are always treated very well IMHO. I might add so are FA, AW, MSCFS, and any others. Pilots are pilots, and AH has been a great melting pot.

I'm like you, I go where the numbers are needed when I log in. You take a beating like this, but you get to fly with everyone. I don't think anyone has ever called me a traitor for doing so, but it would matter little to me if anyone did. It isn't a game if you have no opponents. Thanks for the welcome! As an after thought, didnt mean to imply that AH did not welcome any group. It has been the opposite and really appreciated. What I meant was the occassional flames on the boards when some go to AGW and post about people leaving WB and vice versa. I don't want to make an issue out of it. Simply wanted to establish that we are experienced online flight sim pilots. Maybe shoulda said brandx?

Remember, Warbirds, AH, MSCS, AW, all the folks have one thing in common, Online flight sims, that being said, we should all celebrate the community rather than the vehicle that we use to get there. After all, it's the journey that we enjoy, not the destination.

Glad to have you guys here.
I flew with you guys some last night and had a blast(till son flipped the switch on my computer desk...DOH!).
Just a few things to remember:
1)Always fly a F4u-1c or Spit
2)If flying a Buff always fly over 40k
3)If in a Buff be sure to bail before getting shot.
4)Always..Always shoot chutes
5)Always be a ack hugger
6)If troops have been dropped on your base be sure to quickly pop up in a 47 to drop your own troops. (cancels enema troops out)
7)Be sure to steal all kills
8)Whine on channel 1 for hours when killed
9)Be sure to bug HT and Pryo about when the next version is coming out when you see them flying
10)The most important rule to remember is NEVER EVER kill Mighty1

If you stick you foot in your mouth over there on AGW board about AH, (I am NOT saying that these guys did!) then find yourself 'straying' to AH, please, no one will ever push it back in your face that you were 'once dead against' AH. We will let bygones be bygones.
