Hi All,
Yesterday I managed to hit the top of a Panzer from d600 only to see my rocket ricochet off the top almost coliding with my IL2.
It is my understanding that IL2 anti-armor rockets had a shaped charge warhead designed to penetrate armor via heat and blast NOT kinetic energy (like a bullet) so what is up with "rocket bounce?" Shouldn't it have exploded on the top of the tank? What gives?

i've manage to bounce at least 4 rockets off a tiger and a panzer (2 each) i just laugh and bomb them. It is a tad bit annoying though eh?

I think I have seen my HVAR rockets ricochet off a CV before... :D

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one. The question though is - shouldn't AT rockets EXPLODE? They are contact fused etc.
Or do we have the infamous secret Russian Rubber Rockets installed?
