One of the most overrated, biased, annoying, announcers in sports history.  He and McCarver need to be used for mine clearing duty in Bosnia.

Dunno anything about Buck but Im in full agreement with you on McCarver.
I lost all respect for that man when he started whining like a 3 year old over Dion squirting him with Champaign after the world series win

Listening to that guy lose his mind over Moss' gesture was a weird experience. I had to hit the instant replay button in my mind to figure out if what I saw as being funny was actually an outrage as this dude suggested.

He needs a holiday or something.

With the FCC doling out outrageous fines he was playing the new politically correctness game. I'm fairly confident his earpiece was buzzing loudly that Jerry Falwell and Michael Powell would not approve. Don't shoot the messenger.

Randy Moss is an ass. That doesn't mean he's the only bellybutton out there. At least Randy can play.
John Madden is an ass. That doesn't mean he's the only bellybutton out there. At least John can call a game, and see what's going on, on the field (and on the tailgate grills), without sounding like a rehash of the top "story lines" from some NYC tabloid.
Joe Buck is just an ass. Gee, remember the Mike Piazza-Roger Clemens non-incident? Joe Buck's singlehandedly responsible for bring that crap up, over and over again. He has no capability that I've seen to call a game, so he fills the time with gossip, moral outrage, and pandering. It's announcers like him who give sports stars the opportunity and the motivation to behave like complete asses.

Powell is part of the Bus admin, he was nominated to chair the FCC by Bush.  Perhaps a better choice pof words might have been satan bush administration. But the basic point stands, it's clearly not the US Govts fault that a sports announcer took offense with a ridiculous stunt by an annoying and  tiresome showoff reciever like Moss....

The only knowledge I have of Joe Buck is his football commentary.  I don't watch baseball at all.  As for football commentary, the guy is pretty dang good.  He does a great job of setting up his counterparts for conversation and then getting out of the way.  It's a heckuva lot better than Theisman on the ESPN sunday night crew.

Buck's reaction to Moss was honest and I for one couldn't have agreed with him more.

Feigned moral outrage is always entertaining.

I am hoping we get to see 2 whole titties during the superbowl this year.  Good ones.
