Due to illness I am having to sell my home, which I've been living in for 30 years, to to get a cheaper place.  I will not be able to afford a internet connection; therefore I will be unable to play AH anymore after more then 2 years of playing.  I have made many friends in here over that period of time and all of you will be missed.

P.S.  I only pay $50 a month for unlimited local & long distance on my cell phone so I do not use a landline, which is more expensive, therefore I will not be able to use dial-up.  Also, many people have offerd to help me out with my bills, but my pride will not allow me to do this(But thank you anyway, the offer means alot to me).

i didnt read it all the way, your right batfink....but if he could find a cheap dial up he could use my account, just hate seeing people go when they have no choice, the ones who leave because they are bored i wouldnt offer my account to.

JB82 and sorry to hear of your difficulties.  Hopefully things will clear up eventually for you!

>Edit - you may be able to get your ins. company or another program to sponsor an internet connection/AH2 on therapeutic/compassionate grounds with some good BS.  I'm sure that this is the least of your concerns, but if you have an idyle moment sometime, check it out.

Ahh man, that is so sad.  Sorry to hear that 82, please try to keep us updated on your progress, hope you get better soon

Even if you have to resort to dial up, i spent a period of about a year where i was stuck inside the house due to illness, AH is pretty much all i had to do and it really did help me, especially with the giggles and everything that go with having good squaddies, it may help you too if you can stretch to pay for it still

I'm very sad to hear that, Jeffery. I hope you'll get better quite soon. We had a great time in here while forming the Soldiers Of Fortune squad.

I could definately spare $1-2 extra a month if you could get some other backers too...  We only have to get to $15 here :)

perhaps in kharma, but never from a friend.

its what makes it worth doing.

man, i lost everything a few months ago.
i mean EVERYTHING to a hurricane.  

i got help.  had to.  lord knows i didnt want to...but what do you do when your house is gone?  pay for a hotel at god knows how much a night?

sometimes we gotta let the greater thing lay down the greater love.

if anyone wants to start a fund.  im in.

and if youre listening 82....thats what brothers are for.  we know youll take it over when you can.

i would happily pay a few $/£ to help if thats what is needed. i suspect its more of a ' spend time doing real life, not virtual' feeling.

88, if you ever need a wingman and noone online for you, hop on ch171 and fly with us anytime. I know thats not a good sub for losing a mate but its alays better to share ya troubles.

i had a fantastic time winging with vudak in 190s tonight so i might be able to keep you occupied for a few minutes if ya really bored.

Having to sell home to pay mediacal bills.... Immoral on the part of the health care system.
Assuming that you Live In the U.S
Move to Canada  become a citizen and you get most health cost and hospital bills covered .   anyways!
