could it be a austin  pick up  looks pretty similar to the old austin amberlance  but then i cant tell the difference in planes let alone gvs

Kinda looks like a 39 Chevy 1/2 ton truck.

Yeah, I cant think of anything that fits better.  The fenders and engine hood look right, so I'll say 39 Chevrolet transport truck.
