Ok, is there a way to increase upload rate?

Im uploading files to my site at a rate of 29kb/sec.

Thats just too slow it seems.

Or is it?

Uploads are going to be limited by your Internet connection upload rate.  Sounds like you have a 256Kb/s upload rate.

That's a very typical upload speed for a cable connection.  That's the compromise.  Blazing fast downloads at or around 3M/s, pitifully slow uploads.

The only way to increase your upload speed is to get more bandwidth (i.e. DSL if available).
