In the first pic, the tracers seem to be off, but there's some blurry grey blotch near the fuselage.
Is that gunfire smoke I'm seeing???

I always wondered if that would be added.
(Also wondered if anyone else was aware that on the C.202, one wing was actually slightly shorter than the other to counteract torque. Not sure about the C.205.)

And by the way, its tomorrow. :)

And what precisely would you do to a polygon representation of a WWII fighter to make it revolutionary?
-
Karnak,
I think he might be talking about little things like making the tail booms a little more roundish on the top. Right now the faceting at the tops of the tail booms sticks out like a sore thumb. The model looks great but perfectionists won't be able to avoid fixating on things like that. When things you expect to be round like the tops of tail booms and the upper leading edge of the wing are faceted to save polygons, it just sorta stands out especially when you see how beautiful the rest of the model looks.
I don't want this to sound like I'm complaining because I think the model looks great, but frankly those two areas (top leading edge of wings and tops of fuselages and tail booms) really stand out when polys are reduced there, and that probably bugs some people. All the new features (shells, canopy, cockpit, etc) are awesome improvements but when round things aren't even close to round, they just stand out.
Anyhow, that's my guess as to what Russian is talking about.
-
eagl,
Maybe, but none of that would come anywhere near the definition of "revolutionary". That is simply a higher polygon count and that is simply a trade off in performance/graphics, e.g. the higher the polygon count the better the graphics and the larger the performance hit.

I was slightly over exaggerating. .....

Well, what did you want? It looks better than the P-38 in PF and that would put it at the top of the current heap.
What would you change?
