Title: 367th FG P38Js for Kev
Post by: Guppy35 on January 21, 2005, 04:35:13 PM
Only ones I could find in profile in my stuff are Silver.

Larry Blumer's is probably the most famous of the 367th birds.  Buckaroo ended up with the 370th FG later on so I have more photos of that bird.

The black and white profile is out of the 9th AF history.  Thought it might be helpful as a guide anyway.

Tried to blow up the nose art from the profile a bit.  Not great but might be helpful.

Also a color shot of Lil Buckaroo.  I kinda like that bird myself.

Hate to ask Dan, could you try a very high res scan of the noseart only?

In fact think I'll have time for something else before the P38s arrive -
I know there was 1 sharkmouth Seafire, any ideas?

Tks
