Title: Bomber formations will not land.

Bomber formations are not landing with the lead plane. On short final they break off, fly past the lead plane, and explode. Sometimes they land ahead of the lead plane but not on the runway, then they also explode most of the time. This has happened to me on every bomber mission since 1-2 patches ago.

Sent films to Skuzzy who said he forwarded them the Hitech (Dale).

Bumping.

I was hoping they would fix this in 2.02 but they didn't.

Nice new eye candy in 2.02 but it would be nice to fix some basic bugs like this one.

try flying a stright in approach, it works fine..

anymore than 2 levels of flaps and my b17s blow up? :mad: :o

this bug with drones not landing has been around A LONG time now whats going on?:confused:

no matter if it works fine for some of you, the fact is there is a real problem with the bomber formations landing..ive been playing this game for many years now and im pretty good at landing bombers, the drones never land.. i dont think this problem has even been acknowledged..

its in the flaps i believe ... anytime i use my flaps after take off ... then go into a turn the drones will get stuck on there course ...  and wont turn with the lead buff...   now if i dont use the flaps until im lined up with the runway perfectly .. then they always land with me .. note i dont put the gear down until i cross onto the fld .


the 3rd drone still had a hard time keeping up and getting in formation wen taking off also

Fly straight in
No flap
come in on a shallow approach
Don't drop gear until you're over the runway

how realistic is that?

it used to work fine so why not now?
