Title: Old Crow Skin is done

This is my very first skin im trying to learn so that I may apply the techniques to makeing the paint layout for my 1/5 scale P51D so any way heres a few screen shots of the skin I made for "Old Crow"

A bit more detailed still dont have all the panel lines and rivets and weathering done but I think its comeing along nicely

The colors somehow seem to be off....

The "hood" color under the "Old Crow" text is to light... the dots (red and green) do look to be in the wrong color and the red one is smaller then the green... the red and yellow checkerd thing looks to be in the wrong color as well but that can be due to the ingame light and shadows...

Otherwise it looks nice..

The color under old crow is black but because of lighting and shadows in game it looks lighter I still have alot to do but its comeing along

Good start Ermac :)

If I may, for screenshot purposes, try using the F4 view in conjunction with the F8 pan mode.  This keeps the 'camera' on a level axis with the rest of the world.  Also, anti-aliasing helps make a screenie pretty.

We can get a better view of your work this way :)

i dont think your screen shots do it justice.


looks fabulous though, really 'true' feel to it, not too clean, not too dirty.

In the real picture, the name Old Crow reaches almost all the way to the cockpit.
