Title: Complete 2.02 downloaded file will not run

Due to catastrophic windows XP failure (Thanks, Mr Gates!!), had to reformat and start over -- including fresh install of AH2 2.02.

Unfortunately, while install went ok, the program will not load. It starts up, but then crashes to desktop before any start screen becomes visible.

Tried uninstalling, fresh download, reinstall -- same result.

i have Win XP Pro, set at 1600x1200; alienware area51M with 3.0 GHz; ATI radeon 9600/9700 with fresh drivers for everything, right off the websites. Aces settings were 1024x800, 512 max texture, preload textures. (these settings came up before actual rpogram started first time, adn have not been seen since.)

Help -- I really want to play!!

Same as, kinda, must be us LotR fans, can't even get halfway through the install. Windows Graphics Driver halts the process and kills all systems on the comp. The one time I did get a full install and tried to run the game, my monitor shut down because of a "graphics frequency to low" error.

DSL
Intel Extreme 82865G Graphics card

Solution:

Adjusted graphics for desktop tp be identical to AH2 for first load only. Then, after first load went fine, returned desktop to 1600x1200, and the porgram ran fine.
