Title: How do I get rudder using a Cougar Profile?
Post by: scspook on January 30, 2005, 06:22:32 AM
Im using Slapshots Cougar HOTAS profile in Aces High, which I really like but my USB CH PRo Pedals dont work with it?

Anyone know how to fix it?

If you give me code, please give instructions a moron can understand. Thanks in advance.

The HOTAS are 1 set of controllers, the CH pedals are another. You won't be able to program them together.

Use the TM software to program the HOTAS and the CH software to program the pedals.

Go to clipboard, setup, control, select joystick, and set the pitch, bank and throttle axis for the HOTAS (and possibly set the HOTAS rotary axis for trim, if you like)

Then select the CH pedals to control the yaw axis, and possible the toe brake axes.

I do something similar: I have a full HOTAS with pedals attached to the TM hardware. But I have the CH quad throttle in addition and can set that up too inside AH. When I fly the 38's I deselect the HOTAS throttle axis and assign twin controls to my CH quad throttle.

Was that what you were asking?
