Title: accident , help please

i accidently move my data folder to  temporary folder  with strange name (ab9nkdsldnl, or somthing like that, win XP, in main HDU directory)

now i cannot move it back and cant even read what is inside directory. Message says "acces denined" or when i try to copy thos folder somthing about disc protection

I did try to change folder atributes form read only to anything else, not working :(

i really need to restore this data

please help

start up in safe mode and see if you can move it back ...


(you do know what it is i hope , and it isnt some virous is it ?)

XP home in this PC

system restore does not work for datat files ( not system)

i need to try safe mode, thx
