Was the gunnery changed in the last patch?
i know that the gunnery was changed a few patches ago, as in it aims higher below your convergance setting but this is only since 2.02
everytime i take a lead shot from the spot that has always worked in the past i am not getting hits, it seems like i have to lead more and i am taking the higher aim for it into account being under my convergance,this isnt something ive somised from a couple of sorties but from lots.
either im going mad or something has changed.

For some reason my gunnery improved with 2.02 I can now make lead shots almost as easy as I did in AH1.

we must have been lead shooting in different ways,which means i cant hit now and you can, so it must have shortend or lengthend:confused: :confused:

not sure if any change, but I have seen people getting alot more hits on me from the 1k to 800 distance in last 2 days, and I myself have been able to aquire more hits at distances further out ( sort of like AH1 used to be )
is nothing to lite up a plane now when he is 800 out in front hdg away, with me shooting at him from dead 6 position.....

yeah ive had that too! ive had more luck hitting people at 400 out even though my convergance is 200 and i wasnt getting these shots in before 2.02
thats what i mean about it seeming like gunnery has moved somehow in someway:confused:
as i said if it hasnt im going mad and i wll be straight down the doctors monday to increase the strength of my meds :)

ok flew some more
went ho with a con and pinged him in the face with 5+ shots,nothing happened:confused:
so if its not the gunnery itself is it the strength of the guns?
hispanos dont seem to do anything anymore

theres ya problem, 200 convergence only worked in real life i reakon :)
set 350-400 for wingmounted cannons, except the luft planes. i find them most effective at all ranges when set to 450-500+
maybe its how i fly or shoot or something but i cant hit squat with 200 convergence unless im close with a nice high or low deflection.
i shoot to kill from 400 down, but MG pings to spook a runner from anywhere between 800-1000 do seem easier than a stright six shot from D300 sometimes.
i like the way i suck one day and dont so much the next, kinda adds a little interest to flying. will i die in a horde of gangbanging bastads? will i be in a horde of gangbanging bastads? or will i find that perfect fight somewhere and .....
anyhow, i lost track of the thread...
yeah, gunnery feels harder to me sometimes although i feel the flight model changes it more than we might expect.
the updates in FM changed AH2 gunnery from AH1 gunnery more than the enhanced gunnery models IMO.

are you saying that having it set at 350/400 in a spit i am still gonna hit them at 200 and less
surley its gonna hit there wings only if im at the exact same angle as them?

Actually it is preferable to hit wings directly in AH as they are the easyest point for a structural failure.

ok was thinking it would miss when your aiming straight at wing(wing in crosshairs)
wasnt till i drew it that i realised it would still work,maybe more effective.
but you,d still have to be completly level with target
