Same thing last night for me.

Vox was working, then stopped. Did each of the resetv's with a radio check after each. It did not reset. Ended up logging out and back in. Vox worked fine after that.

So far the resetv has not worked for me at all.  I still have to relog into the game to get it back.

I got a AMD 3200+ 64bit, 1 gig ram, Nforce 3 250 (Asus K8NE Deluxe), SATA HD Seagate.  I using onboard sound which is the Realtek AC'97 I believe.  When I get home I can give more specs on it.

For the record, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have had vox problems in the past. Hasn't been an issue.

The .resetv command doesn't work for me either.  Didn't work for any of my squaddies that lost it.

I lose vox at least once a night with two times being about average over 3 hours.  Exiting completely out of game and restarting fixes it every time.

I'm running:

Asus K8V Deluxe SE
socket 754 AMD64 3400
1gig ram (geil)
Soundblaster Audigy Z2
ATI 9600XT 128 meg
420 watt PS
SATA hard drive

Didn't work for me either. Entire squad lost vox multiple times over the course of a few hours. Had to relog each time.
Hope this helps narrow down the cause.

Cheers,

Problem repeated last night (2/1/05). Sometime around 8:30 pm CST, I lost vox. Went through all three resetv options with no luck. Logged out of game and back in, vox restored.

Tried using it several times last night in flight and failed to work everytime.
However once in the tower i thought what the hell lets try again, and it worked as soon as i typed .resetv

lost vox several dozen times since the upgrade, resetv has never fixed the problem but relogging does every time.

Of the one hundred squaddies, and another 100 non squaddies I asked, not one said it had ever worked for them. I believe it was meant to quiet the Vox loss complaints without ever doing anything except generate text. You know, make it look like it was a fix it when it in fact does nothing at all.
