Title: dunno if it's controller probs or me
Post by: Critter on June 10, 2000, 01:56:00 PM
I been flyin offline cuz i'm waitin for my bud to get back from a 3 week deployment to play wif him. In certain planes when i take off and don't have auto takeoff on... mainly the typh it jumps all over the place and winds up on its back. and in every plane whenever I try and loop it throws me into a terrible spin which I wind up connecting with the ground. this happens if I just try and climb too... and most of the time it's after a steep dive so i know I got enuf E.
it even happens in a 38 which if it's a torque roll... it really shouldn't happen that way, since the props counter-rotate. I dunno if I should try easy mode or what (tryin to avoid it so I don't have a big change when I get online) somebody hep me please  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Hi Critter,

Sounds like it may be torque roll that's causing you problems.  Do you have rudder pedals?

First step is to be sure that all your controls are calibrated in Windows AND in Aces High. (Follow the Help/Getting Started/Joystick Setup and Calibration procedure on the AH home page.)  Done that?

Critter,

Sounds like your having some trouble with the advanced flight model in Aces High.  Drop me a line at ftgcss@home.com and we'll set up a time in the Training Arena to get ya going.
