Now going to be .0925 Cents on the dollar...Cant wait for next year's increase.

Now we see again how the US is inferior to Europe.:) They still have a looong way to go to reach the top.(Sweden@25%)

I think you meant 9.25 cents on the dollar.

What is it in NYC these days? I thought it was 8.25%. Has that gone up too?

Well we are not lagging far behind. A person with a reasonable income pays almost 50% income tax. On top of that you pay 22% of sales tax on most goods. Then your employer pays the same amount to the goverment in taxes and fees as it pays to you.

With all this money one could imagine that at least the goverment provided healthcare would be even somewhat decent. Well, just yesterday I tried to make a dentist appointment. The reply was, I kid you not: "We don't have any appointments within 6 months, and because we can only make appointments within 6 months, we cannot help you.".:mad:

If Erie county get the increase, Niagara County will sneak it thru next year. Onedia County already raised their tax to equal Erie.
