The help section is pretty anemic and I was wondering if I'm missing another manual someplace.

Yes please someone point out the "manual" I keep hearing about.

Funny thing.... I was looking some manual from HTC's site when I noticed some links. Maybe you could look at those?

Yes it is funny........ that it was left to 'Player Pages and Contributions'. The Aces High documentation lacks a DEFINITE 'must have...' document. Those of a 'typical' attack, bomber and fighter mission. The processes and necessary keys for 'quick starting'...... NOTHING turns people off more than having to trawl for informaton when all they wanted to do was TRY it.
Currently you need a 'buddy' to show you around for a couple days... and thats if you knew how to actually FLY in a sim plane. Id say 95% of new folk will head straight to the Main Arena, no matter how big the Training Arena button or text is made and if they pick a day when no-one is willing to entertain their 'dumb newbie questions' then they're gonna get disappointed.
Not so good IMHO.

The "manual" for Aces High is the Help section of the web site.
There is also a zip file of basic commands and such available here: http://www.hitechcreations.com/misc/AHINFO.ZIP (http://www.hitechcreations.com/misc/AHINFO.ZIP)
It may be more what you need to just get going. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

So there isn't any web pages about top speeds, climb rates etc etc ?
Would be very nice to have one.

Actually there is a page for that info. If I remember correctly, as you choose your plane in the game there is a button at the top of the clipboard that will take you to a page that has historical data as well as flight data.

It's on www.hitechcreations.com (http://www.hitechcreations.com) under the Help section, under Planes, Vehicles, and Boats I believe.
