Title: They run out of guns?

Man this is like the 4th time this has happened to the iraqi troops/police. Carry a firearm everywhere you go...Really how many times does this have to happen before they start carring weapons?

I don't understand why these police are not armed...and heavily armed at that.

And if they are, why do they not seem to fight back?

I really do not understand the situation.

they are unarmed, just like the other cases where this has happened. Surely in acountry where ak's cost 100 bucks we can afford to get a couple of guys on these buses armed. There is no excuse for letting these guys get killed without giving them a chance to fight back. All our police carry firearms everywhere they go just in case they need them. I cant tell you how many times I have heard of an off-duty cop that stopped a robbery, assault etc.

from what the "news" says , they were in civlian clothes returning home from recrute training
