Sample Picture. :D

Here is AERO's the first historical gunsight for V2.02.
It's test version, but I think its quality is very good.

http://park1.wakwak.com/~mitsu/ah2_stuff/aero-revi12.zip

This zip contains green, orange, red, and yellow colors.
Install them to gunsights folder, and choose your favorite in the game.
The orange and yellow is based at real gunsights. (Lower and higher color temp)
The green and red one is for game play, it illuminates like HUD.

He's working for all of gunsights at the moment.
Please wait for them. :)

Regards,
Mitsu

P.S.
And you can choose brightness.
There are 3 variants at each gunsight.

It might look fine there, but what about in an F4u-1D? As far as I know all gunsights are not yet uniform in size. Some display much larger or smaller than the 109. Example: A6M, F4u-1d, La7.

<> Mitsu and AERO

you both have always done GREAT work

if i may give my opinions...

the sights are ok, but can use some work. the fade to dimmer or lighter area could be not as pronounced, and there is alot of distortion along the edges

here is how it looks on ym computer:

that is the version #2. the version number 1 is a bit better, and i did not try #3

<> sirs and keep up the great work. i look forward to seeing what AERO can create!!!!!!

Version number two yellow was perfect for the 109.  Wonderful work AERO, can't wait for the next!

I think the reticle circle should be about 150~200% larger. IIRC it should fit a Mustang(or was it a B-17? :)  ) from wingtip to wingtip at 100 yards distance.

The sample pic of the real Revi is probably with the reticle size adjusted to minimal. Something the size of Waffle's new Revi sight, or slightly smaller, should be correct.

Mitsu, please tell Aero to use all of the 128x128 square size to the full - that should be more or less correct for all of the gunsights.

BTW, the overall color and feel of the 2nd sample pic(yellow#2) is really impeccable!

:aok  If Aero makes all of the plane sights with that color, I'll definately be using it.

128x128 or 256x256?  I was comparing the image sizes with Waffle's and Waffle's seemed to be 256x256.  But I would agree, the Luftwaffe gunnery booklet I found at the library mentioned the Revi's circle is sized so that a plane with a 10m wingspan fits perfectly, as it does (I think) with Waffle's.

Mitsu, you misunderstand. I want ALL gunsights in ALL planes to be the SAME size. That's what I was saying
