It's been more than three years since the terrorist attacks on September 11, but I haven't seen this link till today:

There are some very powerful images drawn up by the Marvel artists, along with some short stories. Still brings tears to my eyes.

I still got that The Amazing Spider-Man v.2 #36 comic book and I was happy to buy it because it was the last one in the book store.

Wake me up when september ends!
Sad, terrible, inhuman waste of life, cruel shocking, innexcusable.
Oh yes to all the above.
But then we know about it. The IRA were blowing us up for years and a few years befgore that we had Nazi bombs. I have at least two family members victims of both.
Be sad but don't wallow in it as a nation. Would the fallen realy have wanted that?

I don't think anyone is saying to wallow in our sorrows forever, at least I'm not. I just wanted to share the link because I was impressed by the images (some imagined, some made with inspiration from real moments in the tragedy) that were done by the artists. They are moving, powerfull images that capture sorrow yet show strength. I think it's okay to revisit things once in a while to remind... it would be a great dishonor not to remember at all (I'm sure you agree). By the way, this is not directed personally at you Zulu7; there is no hidden message in my post saying our tragedy is worse than yours or any silly thing like that. Although things like that seem to run rampant in this part of the BBS, that's not what I intended when I posted the link.
