Old but still useful.

1 win key1 a program to disable the win key

2 Always backup your registry

[Start] [Run] [Regedit]
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
Modify/Create the Value Name [Scancode Map] according to the Value Data listed below.
Data Type: REG_BINARY [Binary Value] // Value Name: Scancode Map
Value Data: [Enter Exactly as Shown Below]
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 5B E0 00 00 5C E0 00 00 00 00
Exit Registry and Reboot

Just pop it out, cant hit the key if its not there. :)

There is a free download called "I hate this key" that will turn it off or back on with no problem.
